Workshop on Energy Efficiency and Green Energy: Nordic countries experience and solutions

On 11 February 2016 the Energy efficiency and green energy: experience and solutions of Nordic countries workshop took place in Minsk.Within the workshop the representatives of companies from Nordic countries (Denmark, Island, Norway, Finland and Sweden) participated in the business networking. The event was organized by the Department of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Lithuania and Energopro group of companies.

The workshop brought together more than 230 participants: more than 180 Belarussian specialists and about 50 of their foreign colleagues.  The main objective of the event was to show the experience and practices of Nordic countries with green energy development and energy efficiency improvement, establishment and development of contacts between Belarussian customers and foreign experts.

During the workshop were also discussed the possibilities of financing perspective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Opportunity of getting financing within BelSEFF was brought to attention by the Project Manager of BelSEFF – Mr. Vassily Tarasevich.
